1/2 cup of cornstarch.
3 cups of white flour.
Measuring and Mixing:
- In a mixing bowl place, softened butter in the mixing bowl. Whip on high until fluffy.

Cooking Instructions:
- Set the oven at 350 degrees with the rack placed in the middle of oven.
- Using a tablespoon cookie scoop put each ball in rows on a sheet pan (do not grease pan.) (Cookies spread minimally during the cooking process.)
- With a regular teaspoon, make a shallow indent into each cookie ball. If the dough becomes sticky, dip the spoon in cold water (shake excess water off.)
- Fill the depression with any flavor of jam, candied fruit, chocolate, or colored sugar sprinkles.
- Cook for 10 to 12 minutes. (Slightly brown on the bottom of the cookie.)
- Remove from oven carefully with a spatula and place on a cooling rack. Cookies are very fragile.
